Q. How often should my pet be groomed?

A. Depending on the breed the frequency of grooming can vary. We recommend bringing your dog once a month. It is especially important for breeds with curly or long hair so that their coats are maintained and do not become matted.

How long will it take for my dog to be groomed.

A. The groom time depends on the breed, condition and the treatment being performed on average a groom can last anywhere from 1-2 hours but this is subject to the variables. We will contact you towards the end of the groom letting you know the time of collection.

Q: When should my puppy get their first groom?

A. We recommend bringing your pup in to be groomed 2 weeks after their last set of injections. It is important particularly for breeds which require regular grooming in order to get them used to being groomed for the future and introducing them to the grooming salon.

Q: My dog requires special medicative shampoos, would you be able to use it?

A. Yes! Of course if your pet is on special shampoo or meditated soap please bring it with you we are happy to use it to ensure your pets health and wellbeing.

Q. My dog is old, can it be groomed?

A. We are happy to groom older dogs as long as the grooming experience will not cause any discomfort towards your dog.

Q. My dog can be aggressive when being groomed, can I bring it to the Spa?

A. Aggressive dogs are still able to be groomed as long as they are not aggressive to the point where it would be impossible to touch or groom them. However they will have to have be muzzled.

Q. How often does my dog need a nail trimming and do I need an appointment?

Nail trimming is important for dogs in order to keep them walking correctly and their overall health and wellbeing optimal. We offer nail clipping as a treatment and as part of our packages and we also sell nail trimmers if the owner wishes to clip them at home. We can help advise you on how to do so.
